Not too long ago, I put in a major order at RoseRoseShop, a Korean-based beauty websites that ships Asian cosmetics to pretty much everyone in the world. Some of the products were admittedly misses (I’m still recovering from a bad breakout reaction I had to a BB Cream by Skin79 — sob!), but there were definitely a few goodies in the bunch that will certainly become staples.
One such product is The Face Shop’s Rose Cushion Blusher, a pretty pastel pink that’s oh-so perfect for spring! For only $4ish bucks, you really can’t go wrong. I love that it’s an all-in-one product, and the applicator “cushion” is easy to use once you get the hang of it. A little product goes a long way, too, which is a bonus.
So cute, right?
I’m digging that cushion action!
The color picks up nicely on the cushion. I worried that maybe it wouldn’t, but was pleased to find that I didn’t need to use another brush to apply.
Gently dab onto cheeks. Obviously, the more pressure you apply, the stronger the color will be. I use a very light hand on my pale, pale skin.
There are other colors available and I’ll likely try a few more in my next order. You can’t beat beauty products under $5, especially when they’re so cute…
Hello, again! I’m back! This time I’ve got a quick plug for an article that went live on the Somewhat Simple blog today, where I’ve been writing a monthly beauty feature for nearly the better part of a year, now. The group of creators and bloggers there is so creative and truly talented! I love being amongst them.
Speaking of Somewhat Simple, I’m in the process of working on a really exciting project for the blog that’ll come to fruition the first weekend in May. I’ll give you a hint: it involves travel to a coastal city in California. Stay tuned!
Anyway, this month’s Somewhat Simple beauty feature features a round up of five of my most favorite products I’m using this spring. Some of them are brand new to the world (such as Tocca’s Simone or Doll Face Beauty goods) and others are just new to me (such as the Tony Moly Cristal Blusher in Milky Violet).
